What is comprehensive coverage?

Comprehensive coverage is an insurance coverage that is not required by the state of Florida, but it is something that is smart to at least talk to your insurance agent about. That covers you for the damage to your car that is not caused by a car accident. It will cover you for fire, flood, or lightning strikes, and here in South Florida, we have a lot of flooding particularly in our western communities and we are the lightning capital of the world.

It is important to at least talk to your insurance agent about it and find out how much it would increase your premium because you don't want to have a terrible situation like that happen to you, and not have the insurance coverage you need.
